Don’t forget, if you want to ski with your doggo, register for the Paw’yak Canine Distance Challenge, presented by the Sea to Sky Veterinary Clinic. Record and report the distance skied with your dog during the period from February 17 to March 17. For further details and to register, look for the link on the Zone4 registration page, which can be accessed from the Payak registration page. Note, dogs must be kept away from the stadium area and P’ayak course on February 24.

As always, the race doesn’t happen without a small group of dedicated people who commit their time to make it happen. This year, the first 100 people to register as volunteers for the 2024 Payak will receive a custom Pukka running cap, in colours to designate you are a member of a special team. The first 500 skiers to register for the 2024 Payak 15, 25 or 50 km distances will receive a custom-made Pukka running cap made of lightweight nylon. These all-season caps are going to look sharp on sunny days or if there is snow falling! Don’t miss out – register now!
